The Camber by wheelchairs refers to the degree of inclination of the rear wheels. A strong wheel camber is especially useful for sport and paediatric wheelchairs, as the wheelchair gains lateral tilting safety and the rotation of the wheelchair is made much easier for the child to drive. In addition, the camber causes the user´s grip point to no longer be at the widest point, which better protects the user´s fingers from jamming. The risk of fingers e.g. pinched on the door frame is reduced. Please note, however, that this expands the wheelchair.
